The Pandemonium Coffee Table is one of our most eco-friendly tables. Originally designed and built for the Post-Landfill Action Network’s charity art auction, this piece immediately became a part of the Back Burner Designs line-up. This modern table is crafted with 100% recycled plywood scraps that were labeled as waste material. Separately, the scraps are all various shapes, sizes, and species of woods, but all together, they become an elegant and versatile material from which we build these beautiful tables. The natural wave design depicts sound and movement as a metaphor for the recycling/upcycling movement. The whole piece is reinforced with a recycled steel spine on the underside, so it is as strong as it is good-looking. The straight contemporary black base design provides structure and contrast for a beautifully balanced piece.
Like all of our tables, the Pandemonium Coffee Table is strong and sturdy and will certainly become a conversation piece in your home. These are made to order and custom sizes and styles can be accommodated. As listed, the table is 18″ tall and 48″ long with a total width of around 30″.
